Mark Mahaney
Our collaboration with Mark has spanned multiple exhibitions. Utilizing our custom printing process, we've engaged in creative editing and thorough test printing to refine his artworks to their intended perfection. Stephanie Syjuco
Featured pieces here include: Piezography prints from Stephanie's Cargo Cults series, select print from the Chroma Key series, "Total Transparency Filter (Portrait of N)" from the Citizens series (Syjuco's solo show at the Ryan Lee Gallery in 2017) and "McCrea" from the MATRIX 190 series. We have collaborated with Stephanie since 2017 and have always enjoyed being a part of her artistic process.

Beau Simmons
Beau Simmons, a photographer with a distinct focus on medium and large format film photography, has been a close collaborator over the years. Our partnership has encompassed every stage of the creative process from drum scanning and editing to tailor-made printing solutions. Works featured here include “Along The Verde” and “Sonoran Glow” drum scanned and printed for his exhibition at the Anne Neilson Fine Art Gallery in Charlotte, NC. The BTS shots are from his visit for his upcoming short film.

Ana Teresa Fernández
Featured works here include proofing sessions for prints from Ana Teresa Fernandez' "Ice Queen" performance piece, as well as BTS shots from her XL printing sessions from her 2014 Tudo Jóia performance in Brasil during riots. We have always loved working with Ana Teresa as her creativity knows no bounds. Her work is incredibly powerful and varied, it is always a pleasure to see what's next.

Todd Hido
As a cherished longtime friend and client, Todd Hido's artworks have always held a special place for the team at Candela. Here, we proudly present a selection of pieces, including a preview from his upcoming book, "The End Sends Advance Warning," which was shown at the Armory Show in New York. Additionally, we show a few pieces printed back in 2017 for the UNSEEN art fair in Amsterdam. Todd's art continues to captivate us, and it's an honor to be in part of his process.

Carolyn Drake
Featured here are a few shots from our custom printing sessions with artist Carolyn Drake. For this body of work, Carolyn printed on the gorgeous Awagami Kozo paper - a thin, natural Japanese paper crafted exclusively in Tokushima. This project entailed some experimentation in order to achieve the perfect final images. These select pieces were part of the "On Being Now" exhibit at the SI Fest in Italy.

Laura Plageman
Printing this impressive large piece for Laura during her Open Studio was an absolute pleasure. Laura, a long-time friend and client, never fails to amaze us with her artistry. The colors in this particular piece left us in awe - the vivid pinks and rich greens create a stunning composition. Also featured is Coba Ruins, a piece for the SF De Young Opening in 2020.

Over the years, we've had the privilege of collaborating with Erica for multiple exhibits, and we deeply appreciate her unwavering dedication to perfecting each of her artworks.
